Recording
We made a recording solution, the agent start and stop recording when the order is repeted and accepted. The Agent use the softphone to initiate a 3-part convesation with a local IVR application. The IVR name the vox/wave file and run an MP3 converter, save the file : namn_projectnamn_what ever you want.mp3 and write a index file. After the projet is done we store the files and the indexfile on a CD and ship it to the client.
Dirt cheep solution, excellent quality, no hardware on agent desktop.
If you can start and stop a 3-part conferens in a easy way for the agents the IVR do the rest. If you can't stop a recording a DTMF tone may do the work as well.
