Sales People

While I have enjoyed the opportunity in this forum to interact with other members of the call center community, I am very disappointed in the continual posting of sales related material in this forum. I had understood that this forum was for users to discuss issues, concerns, and other common concerns that impact call centers - not for sales people to sell their products. I get enough spam as it is.

I have submitted several complaints about this that have been consistently ignored. As a result, I will no longer be a member in this forum.

Your perspective is appreciated. This Forum is for the purposes of enabling others to seek advice and assistance from others who have "been there". In turn, it allows member of the community, the opportunity to experience the satisfaction that comes from assisting others. That is the purpose the Forum exists but not all users of the Forum share that philosophy. Some see it merely as a place to obtain free promotion.

CallCenterOps does remove sales oriented material daily. Sales oriented posts are often removed before anyone reads it. CallCenterOps also takes additional steps by blocking repeat offenders from the Forum.

The longer term success of this Forum is dependent on it keeping "on course". Thank you for taking time to express your view.
