call center video recording
Is there anyone who currently- either for security or Supervisory purposes- has a camera within their call center. If so, what type of policy/documented notification do you use- and what is done with it? Thanks....

Camera's On the Call Center Floor
We have cameras through out the facility. The only area's that do not have cameras are the rest rooms.
We have them in the training classrooms; break areas, parking lots, production floor and main walkways. We have a simple statement in our policies and procedures manual that says that we have recording equipment for employee safety. |

It is very common to have camera's in the call center. Most centers have the employees sign-off on a confidentiality when they are hired which includes, monitoring of calls/data/computers and video cameras, for their safety and compliance.
