Closed Case

Hello all,

I'm trying to define what a closed case is in regards to a technical support call.

To help put things into perspective I work in a Technical Support center that is opening another center and we need to define what a closed case is.

Any similar defintions would be appreciated.

There are a host of different definitions for what constitutes "closed."

In some centers, it isn't Closed until the customer specifically agrees that it is Closed. In others, a rep can tag a case as Closed when the best available solution has been given to the customer.

What kind of a product are you supporting? Software? What kind?
