Leasing question
As a concerned employee of a call center I was wondering if someone could help be determine my fate.
How much in advance will a company renew its lease? Second, when should one start worrying because it has not been renewed? I would appreciate any feedback Thanks |

Dale, You really need to bring this question to your manager. I can see you're concerned, but no one on this board is going to make you feel more confident b/c we don't know the specifics of your situation. Your question really isn't about leases, it's about whether your job is secure, and your manager is the only one who can help you understand the current state of your business. I realize it's uncomfortable in some cases to approach "MANAGEMENT", but if done professionally I think you'll get a better feel for your future than you can get from this post.
That said, renewing a lease depends on the relationship between your company and the bldg mgmt company. Some renewals are fairly automatic, others require lots of negotiation. I've seen leases renewed as early as a year before the expiration and others less than a month. Good Luck. |
