Managing Service Level by Half Hour Interval

We are moving to managing service level by half hour interval (svl should be 70-79% every half hour), which bring some new challenges for us. Does anyone have any experience in this? What advice can you give?

Allthough I don't have any experience with this method myself, I think the most important aspect of it is the flexibility of your staff.
With large intervals in incoming traffic, you will need to increase the flexibility rate of the team.
One big issue that is often directly related to this "corporate demand" is motivation. Generally people want to work "normal" hours within a steady environment. This approach makes that difficult.
