Call Center 101
I am in the Philippines and do accounting work for a department in a hospital in the midwest USA. I have 8 accountants but had to hire two operators to handle calls coming from the hospital. I would like to learn about call centers and how to run one, what equipment is needed for this, gateways, etc. I guess I need to learn about technical stuff etc. Can anyone help me where to get this ? what to do. Where to start?
Best regards, |

Call Center 101
I've attended several very helpful call center management training classes put on by ICMI, the Incoming Call Management Institute. (www.incoming.com) Their basic course is very helpful when you first start out, and they have some good books also.
Once you get into it more, you might want to check out http://www.abbottwalkabout.com/ -- James Abbot has some excellent material and trainings too. Good luck! Val |
