Internship

Hi DaQueen112-

If I understand your post correctly....you will be graduating college soon? If that is the case you may want to actually work in a call center to see how operations work. True, there are many other facets to a call center besides answering phones, but a firm may hesistate to give you an internship without any industry experience.....although that varies by center.

I suggest that you find a local call center that doesn't have multiple locations (i.e. Delta airlines has call centers in 5-10 different cities), it would be easier to get an internship with only one facility...and you'd probably learn more at a single site facility. Anyway....find a call center....even some of your favorite companies, just look them up online and see where the corporate office is located. If its in the Orlando area, give the corp. # a call and ask for HR. Better yet, if you can get a name from their website to directly ask for you may have better luck? I believe AAA AutoClub has a ginormous call center in the Orlando area. Banks, insurance companies, (hotel) resort reservations are all known to have call centers too. Good Luck.

P.S. The correct phrase is IN's and OUT's.....not ENDs and OUTs and be sure you punctuate your grammer correctly when applying for a job....mistakes on resume's usually means your resume ends up in the NO! pile. :)

....

Why dont just go ahead and let operator patch you to the HR department or whoever is the decision maker on hiring interns. Its most probably the HR department.
