Attrition Calculation

How do you calculate your attrition? Have seen a few different ways. I'm looking for examples how to calculate Monthly attrition. Would like to discuss the different options once posted.

Attrition count for the month/((opening headcount+closing headcount)/2)%

hi, this is an other way to calcullate attrition% total resigned +total absconding /total manpower *100
