new agent on boarding
I'm a Team Manager in an in-bound call center. Our center is looking for new ways to welcome new employees and ease their transition from training to the floor. (Our agents currently go through 2 weeks classroom and 2 weeks on the job training then are off to a team. Team Managers typically meet their agents before they 'graduate' from OJT, but there are no standards as of yet)
I'm interested in the ways other centers handle this time. How do you transition to the floor? Are there any buddy systems or mentoring type activities done? Any info you can share with me would be greatly appreciated |
