Wht`s No Answer,Dialer Detected Answering Machines
Hi people,
I work for an Outbound Call Center in India, I would like to know the major deffirence between No Answers and Dialer detected Answering Machines(are the No Answers throuwn to the agents????) also what the various termcodes used for an outbound sales center. Kindly send me the details ASAP as it is of importance to me . Thanks, Amit |

Both these are two separate items to look for when doing lead set management. No answers are different from the answering machines detected by the the dialer. Answering machines that your dialer report shows are numbers on which the dialer came across an answering machine and dropped the call without pasing it on to the agent, where as no answer are phones that don't answer when dialed. No answers and answering machines both could get passed on to the agents, though the % should not be high at all , if it is then you are certainly not dialing your leads the right way and the filteration is not good at your dialer end in case no. of answering machines hitting agents are too many. Though i would presume that your client (person providing the campaign or leads or both) is a genuine one, never the less sometimes that could be an are of concern. During the earlier days of the BPO industry in India this was one of the major issues, i believe not these days as the industry and the players have matured along the way.
