Taxing Incentives

Any suggestions or resources about how/when employees need to claim incentives as income??
I am referring to lower end incentives ranging from $10 gift cards to $100 gift cards.
Thank you

I'm not sure about the US, but in most countries incentives are treated as taxable benefits. However in the UK you are allowed to make small gifts to employees as rewards without them being taxable. I can't be sure of the exact amount but I seem to remember that it is £80 ($130) per year, but don't quote me on this.

I would suggest that a short call/ email into your accountant would get you the latest information.
