outbound alternatives?

I currently have a call center that is expanding rapidly. We have been manually dialing and this is just not productive. I've done some research and it seems that predictive dialing may be my solution. However, the companies that I've been calling are extremely expensive, especially their start up costs. Does anyone know of a cheaper alternative? HELP!

Hi Marcy!

I have some alternatives that allow you to try predictive dialing without the start-up costs. Please e-mail me with your contact info and I will put you in touch with them.

Best regards-

Auto Dialers

I manange a 100 person research/customer opinion call center and we have been dealing with the same issue. The main issue with the auto dialers is that they have that delay from when the person picks up the phone to when the caller gets on the line. I have read about a software that allows you to press a dial button and it will dial the phone number for you. I dont know how much it would cost as I just read about it a day or two ago. Also, if you are contracting any work from anyone make sure they are ok with you using auto dialers. I know a few of our clients have said we are not to use them.

Re:outbound alternatives?

Hi Marcy,
You are certainly right that manual dialing will be a time consuming task and will not get you optimal productivity.
Auto-dialing or Predictive dialing is a great solution and it depends on your choice of the vendor and technology that you go for.
Traditionally, the hardware vendors solutions are exhorbitantly priced and doesnot allow great flexibility.
I would love to suggest some new open source as well as rightly priced softwares that could help you decide how you can automate your operations without large investments. Please drop in your email id or mail me on ruchiratsolnixdotnet to discuss further.

Best wishes
