Do your reps need to feel a sense of community?

Do you feel that having your agents involved in the community outside work (as representatives of the company) makes them more engaged in work?
Do you encourage or sponsor your agents and managers to participate in community clean up or volunteer projects? Do you find this positively impacts their job satisfaction, company loyalty?
