Philippine Call Center Industry ( And India )

Hi to Everyone!

I'm new here and was curious about how call center professionals in the U.S. feel about their counterparts here in the Philippines and other countries. As you may well know, most of the jobs have shifted to India and the Philippines. The latest company that is going to establish call center operations in the Philippines is actually the 4th largest bank in the U.S.

I'm rather happy about it. I would like to have the ability to move up in management by going overseas to the Philippines. I hear the salary for American s is around 60-100k usd a year and of course tax free if you stay out of the US for more than 330 days in a years time up to 85 thousand dollars+housing expenses.

Our Company is implementing our system to the Philippines, and I will tell you every person I have spoken to has been very well educated, and the level of English and the quality of your accent is very respectable. It is very impressive.

Well, i guess the birth of call centers here in the Philippines really boosted our economy up... we have strengths and weaknesses and i think comparing ourselves with the Americans are unnecessary.
