What do you call your trainees?
We have new agents in training for several months before they "graduate". We have designated "trainers", which have a graded job that can't change titles. But when writing materials, it gets confusing to refer to both types of employees by such similar titles (trainERs and trainEEs).
I'm trying to find a new term (unofficial only) to refer to trainees by. "Recruits" sounds too military, "interns" has a difficult political connection and most others have a distinct (and often inappropriate) connotation. Any suggestions? Thanks, Val Call Center Manager Sacramento, CA, USA |

I like to call them "future managers"
They seem to like that.
