Need Tips- Fast (",)

Hi All,

I have been a supervisor for three years and I will have an interview for an assistant manager post in a few days. I am very excited and nervous at the same time. I want to ask for tips. The usual questions? The usual challenges in operations?

Thanks

You Have been a supervisor for 3 years right? I would suggest to remember everything you have done wiht your team and play it easy. Everything will be alright if you relax and be yourself and do what you do best.

Memorizing what to say would make your interview somewhat awkward. Normally AM insterview are situational interview. They will give situation and you would have to answer on how you would react and what you would do given that situation.

Hope that helps

Moving Up

Yes... cool congratulations.

I was a supervisor some years ago- but very exciting moving up!
Be calm and cool in your interview. Like the previosu reply stated- always use your experience with teams / personalities/ and conflict resolution as a plus.
Supervision and Management is nothign more than dealing with people- once you have this down- it is smooth sailing!
