Headsets policy

I am in Human Resources. I am looking for a policy to use with the employees thas wears headsets as a work tool. So far we just give them to he employees the first day and when they break it we just replace them without cost. We need to start charging for the replacements. Any suggestions? Thanks, Gloria

Headsets

I assume next - you guys will charge them for pc mouses and computer monitors when they go back too? lol (sarcasm)... but anyways...

My experience is - sometimes you may need to look into a company that provides a recycleable way of covering the damage to those headsets- instead of charging the employees. I just have a feeling you may have more HR headaches than u already have if you charge the employee.

Some headsets are very cheaply made and can break- or are already defective and deteriorate over time... not to mention the wiring can short out very easily with repeated use.

My company had a way of sending the bad products back within a certain time frame to get compensation back on the headsets that went bad!

Good LUCK!
