E-mail Management

My call center has been using the Avaya Interaction Center application for a few years now. Unfortunately, we have found that it is not as versatile as we would like. The application appears to be 1-D in a 3-D world.

I looked at eGain. Unfortunately, I ended up spending a lot of time trying to get a sales rep to contact me back after 1 phone call with their company. Recently, I met with the folks at SalesForce.Com. They seem to have their stuff together. However, I do not think my Infrastructure group is going to go for someone else housing the data and having control over the servers. We are looking for an application that will handle our e-mails. Chat is a good option to have for the future. CTI is a plus.

Do any of you have suggestions on who to look at?
