VOIP Implementation on CC

Hi There

VOIP is a splendid technology which when implemented would result into a huge amount of growth in the call center industry. The reason being : Low amount of investment on the Equipment front. As per the ILD's landed in the Indian Market the VOIP would be availed at no cost on equipment . How far this is implicable is yet to be seen.

ILD's have certainly got the licence but the licences have yet to be activated. The major factor on the VOIP front is the QOS factor , how far are the carrier networks equipped to handle the VOIP factor is another question. The market is still waiting for trai to come up with the VoIP QOS guidelines.

IP based routing is best supported as on date by the CISCO equipments which have built in feature as for example jitter buffer.

Lets keep our fingers crossed.
