Meridian Max Reporting
My meridian max all trunk busy report always shows zero busy.
I know that is not true. On a very, very busy day I call and get a busy but the Max still show that no trunks are busy. I am sure my problem is a setup issue some where. I am running release 9 of Nortel Meridian Max I have have a IVR that sits in front of my ACD If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be very helpful. Thanks, Jeff Engleman I.T. It depends
I've worked with MAX for several years and it often did not report reality as I would have hoped it would.
The problem with the ALL TRUNKS BUSY report is that I believe it reports an average. I always depended on our telco to run traffic reports on the Mega or I would look at the all busy report on our 800 lines. Your telco can also run a traffic report on your PBX to determine when is your peak time and if there are actual busy's. Max reports good information when it comes to queues, agents, DNIS, etc but your Trunks, unless you are 100% sure that they are correctly configured, your report is somewhat useless. Hope it helps. |

Meridian Max
The problem is either in the switch or is a software problem. Reccommend contacting your phone provider and put in a service order for them to determine and fix the problem. If it is a software issue, they should be able to resolve it with Nortel.

As I work on this problem more I am finding that the extension on my IVR are setup as 500 sets as regular extensions and to report all trunks busy that need to be an ACD. That is why I am not getting all trunks busy reported. |
