Headsets

Hello,

I'm in the process of evaluating our current (Hello Direct) headsets. I would like to talk to some other vendors about their offerings.

What brand of headset and amps are you using in your call center?

Thanks

Jeff

Headsets that we use

We primarily use GN Netcom headsets in our Call Center which make sense because we are GN Netcom's largest distributor.

headsets

Shop around. Try out each product with sample from salesperson.
We use Plantronics and are satisfied with the quality.

HEADSETS

We have used Hello Direct in the past, and were very dissatisfied with the quality of the product. We have just changed to GN Netcom (in the last year), and are very pleased.

In the course of making that decision, we evaluated Plantronics, too --- but decided that from both a feature and a cost perspective GN NetCom was better. Our agents are now on the wireless models. Great for freedom, and efficiency!

Hope that is helpful.

The GN Netcom cordless is the worst headset I've ever used.
I'm on my fourth one in less than 1 1/2 years.
They are very undependable

Which model?

The ones that I sell alot to the:

PENTAGON

USAF

IRS

WHITE HOUSE COMMUNICATIONS

are the ELLISPE or 9020.

If they had a problem I would know about it.

I have the Ellipse and trust me it is junk.
The company has tested it each time and determined that all 4 have been defective.
I'm not sure the government is a great reference

GN Netcom has been dealing with me directly since it has been under warranty.
It certainly appears they are sending me new units, however there is no way I would ever know for sure. They have been very gracious and are completely stumped why I'm having all this bad luck.
The units typically don't work at all. There is no signal between the base and the belt clip. Or if there is a signal, it is only good for about two feet. Sort of eliminates the advantage of cordless.
We have troubleshooted everything including batteries, connections etc. They confirm when I send them back that they are not working properly.

Hmmmm, this is the first that I have heard.

I wonder if ur working in an environment where there are high frequency interference.

Afterall, this is just a 2.4Ghz device.

We thought about the high freq but ruled it out especially since I have moved and the problems have continued through this whole thing

Honestly I don't know what to say.

There isn't enough info /data for me to continue an objective assumption on what might have happened.

From my experience, 95% my customers are happy with GN Netcom products.

The government is a great reference. Espcially the entities that I have been dealing with. What they do politically and technically are to diffferent things. Strictly business.

For a country that is just a few hundred years old, they really got their act together faster then most countries in that period of time.
