recording agents for quality assurance

Have been using a microcassette tape recorder to record agent/customer interactions for scoring and training purposes. Tape recorder broke and am searching for ways to record onto my PC instead. Would really appreciate your sharing any info you might have that is applicable. Currently looking at Dictation Buddy ($17.95 shareware) which allows me to connect via call-corder directly into my video card on computer and software which automatically records all calls monitored and stores them to file. Software claims to stop recording automatically when there is silence on the line. I have no need to store more than 1 day's calls on my harddrive and this looks like an inexpensive solution. Any advice?

recording agents for QA

You should really check out www.witness.com
They specialize in that area, plus they will train you, and all other
persons who are responsible for monitoring practices if you like.
They are pretty high tech.
I am not sure what your needs are, but did you mean that you were recording the voice/video onto your own PC for monitoring purposes? I hope not. If so watch your available space

I am not sure what they cost. I know it isn't cheap if you want to get a liscence for thier products and you have a really large call center or network of call centers.
Fortunately I didn't have to worry about that. I work for a large corporation. Yay, they ate the cost.

Either way, check into it. As a matter of fact, you should approach your center director with it and say HEY LOOK AT THIS!!
