Account Mgmt to Call Center Mgmt

I have several years working for a major telecommunications provider managing outsourced suppliers in sales, service, and TPV operations. I am now looking to move a Site Manager/Director position. Despite not actually having managed a site, I feel I am more than qualified. How do I position this so that not actually having managed a site is not a drawback? I do have experience as a rep and a sup in a call center.
