Crm

What's your experience with Oracle CRM solution?
The experience I have is with Vantive (now People Soft) and would like to hear your experience with Oracle.

Thanks in advance!

buggy

Oracle 11 experience..

buggy and way too comprehensive.

Tries to be everything without really doing anything well.

Just the increase in the amount of fileds has led to a 10% increase in our time to process a call.

Oracle vs Peoplesoft

I agree with Agent.

I have worked with both. Vantive ( now Peoplesoft) is a robust product with great flexibility and customization ability and it delivered this with few bugs or challenges. Oracle may create a great product a few versions from the current offering...but not today.

Now don't get me wrong Oracle has a good product but the design, customization, testing and roll out will require a significant additional investment vs Peoplesoft. There are some advantages if you run an Oracle database, but in my experience it doesn't (yet) justify the selection. Now if you were comparing either to Seibel you might get more debate.

At any rate this is 'one man's opinion' and of course 'free advice is worth what you paid for it', but this is my experience.

I hope that I have added value to this discussion. If I can of further assistance please feel free to contat me at ctaylor@thetaylorreachgroup.com .
