Pay for performance program

We are looking at inplementing a pay for performance program that will be ongoing. Has anyone had successes or "failures" in this area? What areas/metrics did you measure? How ofter did you pay out, or did you include it in the hourly wage? Did you have thresholds that must be reached in order to receive pay out? What implementation problems did you have? Were you able to measure a return on investment? What would you have done differently?

Pay for Performance program

Hi
There have been success stories from various outbound sales campaigns, especiaaly from India, due to high quality & productive people, at a comparitive low prices.

We as Maeflower Consulting are in the Business Process outsourcing areana as ITES enablers,

Currently we are running 5 different campaigns based on sales performance, and to your interest there has been success.

Areas/metrics did you measure? (Do you mean domain)
Areas - in Insurance, Credit Card, mobiles, landline, appointment bookings.

How ofter did you pay out, or did you include it in the hourly wage?
No the payout is decided on per sale per hour (SPH)

Did you have thresholds that must be reached in order to receive pay out?
It depends on the tenure of the campaign.

What implementation problems did you have? Were you able to measure a return on investment? What would you have done differently?
Since we are the enablers, as such these are the problems the Call Centers have, but till date I have not received any problems from either the client nor from the providers.
The client can very well measure the ROI as a daily MIS reporting is provided from the provider to the client.

If you require to run an Outbound Sales Campaign in India, Maeflower would be able to consult you. Please let me know your interest. more about us at www.maeflower.com
Best regards,

My opinion is that it is better to do a small test first with the company to make sure that they can obtain true metrics and then develop a pay-for-performance schedule that is a win-win.

Also, many companies will not spend time on you rprogram if they also have clients that are paying them per hour for other work. Your work would end up being filler for them. Please keep that in mind.

I have seen many payout schedules. It all depends on the goals of the program.

Usually, payment is made month for the amount of sales or leads that were generated. Sales Per Hour or Leads Per Hour are usually measured.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to e-mail me and we can talk in more detail.
