Calling Overseas?

I have been assigned to set-up a call center here in Quebec Canada. We’re 300 Seats – moving to another 500 in the next 90 days. We provide our services to Companies that need “French” , “English”, “Spanish” & Arabic service reps for either IT, Telemarketing, Web Support, Collections & Skip Tracing – or anything that would require the direct need of a call center environment. I have also been given the task to increase our Languages abilities to Cantonese, Mandarin & Vietnamese over the next 120 days. Our clients are based across North America. But we're now entering into the European & Asian Market. Of course a ton is happening. We need to look at “technology’ to service clients from around the world.

Currently were seeking information on various methods on calling overseas from North America. What is the common one & who are the providers & what is a fair price to pay?

Solution...

Why pay a provider that will charge you per minute? You can setup your own VoIP network and cut the long distance costs to ZERO. Today that task is much simpler with IP PBX(es). I can help you achieve your goal, if you want contact me at info@idagen.com.

Voice trunking technology

Hi , RAD Data Communications Inc has a 1U box that will compress up to 16E1s into 1E1. This will save you a ton of money on international leased lines costs. The unit can also take 16E1s over an IP link using about 2Mbps (Much more efficient than VoIP!! ).
Call me if you would like more info.

Illi-s that is 4k per call? With overhead? Hard to believe? Wonder what compression.

We can get toll free numbers from 70 countries but their is charge by the minute. Tier-1 carriers do sound better than what is given freely.

Voice compression system

Hi James, Yes 4K per channel. We can help you save money on international E1s or even over IP with our box. It has been successfully implemented in many off shore call centers. ROI can be about 1 month!! Feel free to call me: 201 529 1100 or illy_ s@radusa.com

Hi,
The cost efficient method is to go for VOIP solutions. You need VOIP Gw in USA and VOIP GW in Europe/Asia. The link can be IPLC/Internet/VSAT etc..
The VOIP Gw output at the termination can be connected to EPBX or IPBX and call center can operate.
We have call center with VOIP solution
IF you need solution pl. contact

if there is enough of us, why not start up a resource sharing arrangment for voip? We can for example put up a voip box in say, singapore, and allow you to use it, if you do the same in canada and allow us to use it as well.

Lowers the cost of doing business all around. (idealistic?)
