Avaya Modular Messaging w/Interchange

Has anyone experienced a problem with nesting multiple lists together and having the Interchange between systems, and receiving duplicate messages? We're assuming this may be an issue with the Interchange between all sites, and not recognizing dupliates within other lists. In the old Octel world, it would recognize if it was already sent to someone vs. sending it to the same person multiple times...Thanks.
