Amcat conflicts with other software

We are a non-profit which runs an Amcat dialer for some of our member calling. The computers which are the dialer stations are also part of our regular network and are available as network workstations when not being used for the dialer. (This was done as a cost-saving measure.) We've had a number of problems with these computers up to and including having to reinstall the operating system. The problems have not shown up on other non-dialer computers in the office with the same specs. The computers are Dell Optiplex workstations running Windows XP, SP2 with the usual software (Office XP, etc.) Does anyone know of conflicts between the Amcat software and standard office software that might be causing these problems? Thanks.

Reply to Amcat conflicts

Do not know anything about Amcat, but they are not the most stable company right now. If you are interested in an alternative platform, send me your contact information, and we can try to leverage the hardware that you have.
