Avaya Voice mail LED Glows even when there are no new voice mails.

Hi all,

Im facing a strange issue, where the LED in the avaya Phone keeps glowing even when there are no new voice messages and this misguides as if there is a new voicemail.

Things that were done already:

1. Deleted all voice mails.
2. Deleted the voicemail box itself and recreated.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey CW,

The easiest way to solve the problem is send the phone in for warranty/repair. To me it sounds like a glitch with the phone.

Hi,

This could be due to the fact that the feature of missed call reporting has been activated on the PABX. In Avaya the phone will have the LED glown if there have been missed calls on your Digital extension. Please de-activate the feature or check with your administrator about the access to the missed calls for you to check the same.

If this does not sort your problem contact the nearest Avaya reseller.
