Aspect ewfm scheduling assistance
Here is my dilemma....My colleague took the week long training class on how to use this Aspect Scheduling, Reporting, and Tracking, in Nov. of 05. We just got our blank templates loaded (with agents profiles) with the Aspect trainer who helped us for two days (It's a long story why it took so long for us to just start using it now). Now we are on our own and we didnt absorb all that data we were trained on in 2005. This is a huge piece of software and thier tech support is not that supportive. We can't afford to go back to take the week long training again. Now that you know the background, here is our question: We have each person's schedule in. How do we "make official?" If someone walked us through it just once, we will be able to catch on from there. We are just "stuck" with our noses in our training books trying to figure it out so we can do it right.
Please help! |

I take it you have created your schedules in the trial schedule manager? If so, all you need to do is highlight the schedules you wish to make official, right click and choose make official. There is a filter option to choose which segments you want removed from the official schedule editor if they already exist. You should ensure that things like holidays are not ticked.

Check the Aspect web site as well. There are several documents and tutorials on there that will help you. If you are stuck again let me know. I have been using eWFM (TCS) for over a decade. zimmedp@nu.com

Still available for any help with WFM?
Hi,
Quick question. I have some experience using WFM but was just put in a position to manage it by myself with not much training. I'm trying to make a schedule official from the trial schedule but it didn't quite work. After right clicking it asks "Interactive" or "Autorun", what is the best option and where to go from there? Thanks! Quote:

I'm thinking just do Interactive. You'd do AutoRun if you wanted it to automatically make schedules official periodically; so if you let your agents know what their schedules will be 3 weeks in advance, you could make all your changes/adjustments in Trial Schedule Manager and then at whatever date/time you set the AutoRun job it would automatically Make Official for you.
