operation hrs and E Workforce Management
I just recently was hired out of college to come into a forecasting position with my company. There is a lot of things I am still learning, but my question at hand is how will changing the hrs of operation affect EWFM? The company I work for has decided to change their hrs of operation. I was wondering then if that means that the historical data that EWFM has captured will still be useful to the system. I know how to change my hrs of operation, but will that be sufficient for EWFM? Of course, I will change AHT and all other variables like weekly factors if that has an affect, but what I would like to know is will my historical data still be relevant, and if not how will that affect the forecasts.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly |

It will still hold onto the data no matter what, but it probably will not be relivant because of the hour change. Your time of day factor is going to be off whether you are shortening or lenghtening your hours. The system will need to rebuild this history. After a couple of weeks you can run the forecast off the gathered data. You can also do test scenerios by entering special hours of operation in the software.
