Outbound Alternatives?

I currently have a call center that is expanding rapidly. We have been manually dialing and this is just not productive. I've done some research and it seems that predictive dialing may be my solution. However, the companies that I've been calling are extremely expensive, especially their start up costs. Does anyone know of a cheaper alternative? HELP!

I understand that you were interested in a predictive dialer. Globalspan offers a hosted predictive dialer system that enables you to run a virtual call center from anywhere, with no investments in hardware or software. All you need is a browser and a phone line for each of your agents and you're ready to start making calls.

The benefits include:

• No start-up costs
• No long-distance charges
• Limited commitment with "Pay-as-you-go" pricing
• Fully scalable to over 1000's of agents
• Remote functionality allows you to connect from anywhere to anywhere (allowing your agents to span multiple locations)
• No line drops or interference (since we do not use VoIP)

For really good dialers that are stable and scalable, you need to go for a good solution, which might cost you a bit. Going in for cheaper dialers will be easy on your pocket initially, but then the cheapest solutions are not very productive in the long run, especially those that are mere modifications on asterisk. These are very unstable and value add is not too much. What sort of costs are you looking at(per agent)?
