Help! Aspect eWFM v 6.3 Segment Import

I am attempting to import segments using the segment import function in eWFM. The "help" section within the system prescribes a specific file format, that is not very specific, but requires a CSV file. I am unable to set up a file to duplicate what is acceptable for the system. Here's the kicker, I had a test csv. file set up, and it worked. After taking the formats from that csv. file and pasting them to the other file I was trying to import, and saving the csv. again, it stops working. Each time I try to import, the system gives me an error for a different field, mainly the rec_type, dates or duration of the segments. Has anyone successfully imported segments using this feature? It would really save data entry time, but I've spent so much time getting the spreadsheets set up I could have entered the info by now. It's especially frustrating since I did get it to work, and now it will not with the exact same file. Anyone out there who has experience with this, your input would be appreciated! The directions that the company provides are not very helpful.
