Using VB6 to write app to change speed dials

Hi Everyone

I've been charged with the task of writing a simple application to change abbreviated enhanced speed dials on an Avaya PABX.

I thought I would be able to just use Winsock to telnet into the box, but since it uses true telnet emulation, I'm getting all sorts of junk and I'm having trouble sorting through it.

Has anyone tried anything similar? Any pointers?

Thanks

Nick
